FIELD: lighting engineering.

SUBSTANCE: light-emitting diode strip refers to the LED light sources used in the construction of light-signaling devices, in particular, indicators of the true horizon. LED strip contains box-shaped housing (1), LED board (2), heat sink plate (3), printed circuit board (4), and power supply (5). In one of the walls of body (1), holes are made, the centers of which are located on one straight line. Light-emitting module is installed in each of these openings. Each light-emitting module contains powerful LED (6), bulb (7), thick-walled sleeve (8) of heat and electrical insulating material, a heater and light guide (9). Heater is made in the form of sleeve (12), on the outer surface of which wire (13) with a high electrical resistivity is wound. Heater is installed in a blind cylindrical hole made in thick-walled sleeve (8) from its end pointing towards spherical section (11) of bulb (7). With one end surface F, heater sleeve (12) is in contact with the inner surface of spherical portion (11) of bulb (7). Light guide (9) is installed in the central hole of thick-walled sleeve (8), made in the form of a rod made of a light-conductive material. Due to this design, the heater is as close as possible to the surface of bulb (7), on which ice and snow form, and LED (6) is isolated from the heat generated by the heater.

EFFECT: consumption of electricity used to melt ice and snow is reduced, time of bringing the LED bar into the ready state is shortened and the service life of the LEDs is increased.
