SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to excavating equipment. Ground engaging tool system contains a ground engaging tip and a coupler. Ground engaging tip comprises a ground engaging portion and a coupling portion in opposing relationship to the ground engaging portion including a side wall and an interlock tab wherein the side wall at least partially comprises a coupler pocket. Interlock tab has a base and a proximal end, the base end of is contiguous with the side wall, and the interlock tab extends from the base end to the proximal end in a direction substantially away from the ground engaging portion and has opposite concave portions with a first radius near the base, opposite flat parts of the contact surface, substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis and adjacent to the concave portions, opposite convex transition parts with a second radius adjacent to the flat parts, and a convex external edge portion with a third radius adjacent to both opposite convex transition parts. Coupler is made with a fastening bow and a locking collar forming a locking recess. Coupler is attached to the digger tip in such a way that the clamping nose of the clutch is located inside the coupler pocket of the digger tip, and the interlock tab of the ground engaging tip is located inside the locking recess. Ground engaging tip is rotatable with respect to the coupler in the range of movement around the fastening axis, and the locking recess has a shape complementary to the curved outer edge of the interlock tab in such a way that the curved outer edge of the interlock tab does not interact with the locking collar in the travel range.

EFFECT: decrease in stress concentration.
