FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rolling, concerns the improvement of the design of a multichannel guide and can be used in the reconstruction of the existing rolling mills. Reduced labor intensity of manufacturing and metal consumption of the guide by means of combining in one housing of all sets of guide blocks is provided due to the fact that the multi-channel guide for the pipe mill comprises the housing 1, which is made in the form of a drum, on which the set of guide blocks 2 with different sizes of wire channels 3 is situated. Each guide wire 2 has from three to seven wire channels, depending on their diameters. Housing 1 is fixed in a groove 4 of the rear table with the possibility of its rotation about an axis perpendicular to the rolling axis 5. Along the rolling axis 5 there can be arranged five housings 1 depending on the length of the rolled pipes. On the side of the ends of the housing 1 there are retainers 6 of the position of the housing 1, which are made in the form of a conical rod, pneumatically interacting with the conical opening 7 that is formed at the end of the housing 1.
EFFECT: reduced labor intensity of manufacturing and metal consumption of the guide.
