FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the technology of obtaining the energy of sea waves and the simultaneous protection of the coast from storms. Floating working organ of the wave power plant 8 is made in the form of a straight prism with a base in the form of an isosceles triangle turned by its apex downwards, the angle at the apex of the triangular base of the prism is 50–62°, and the length of the median emerging from the vertex of the triangular base of the prism is equal to the length of the side of the base of the triangle lying at the base of the prism. Body of the wave power plant 8 consists of at least three segments arranged in series and connected to each other by frame 11. Each of said segments is made in the form of the above-described floating working member, with extreme plant segments 9 being ballasted and having holes in the lower part for filling with water, and at least one middle segment 10 is made hollow, providing buoyancy of the housing of the installation.
EFFECT: increased stabilization and stability of the floating working body and wave power plant to ensure their reliable operation, including in extreme conditions of storms; also the invention provides the possibility of a fast, technological and least energy-consuming method of changing the mass and displacement of the wave power plant necessary for its most efficient operation with wave action of varying intensity.
