SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical equipment. Invention determines the reliability of using magnetically conductive shunts over air gaps in toroidal magnetic circuits, which is provided by visual control in the operating mode of the circuit using a phase meter included in the diagonal circuit of the bridge circuit, in whose arms the test magnetic circuits are installed, taken from the development product when placed in the circuit of magnetic circuits without shunts. Invention also determines the efficiency of magnetically conductive shunts in the presence of shunts in all samples in the bridge circuit. With the maximum unbalance of the bridge circuit at the time of selection and obtaining the optimum thickness of insulation under the shunts, one of the samples shows the presence of a maximum inductance in the winding of the test sample, which is ensured by shunting only the magnetic fluxes of scattering over the air gaps in the magnetic circuit.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the possibility of shunting magnetic fluxes of scattering over air gaps without shunting magnetic fluxes passing through air gaps.
