SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of tool processing and can be used to restore the worn working surface of a tool such as, for example, a plastering rule. Device contains a horizontal base with longitudinal guides and fixation elements for placing the plastering rule, a carriage with the handle and working tool installed on it and the mechanism of vertical variation of the height of the position of the working tool with respect to the horizontal base, at that the carriage is mounted on a horizontal base with the possibility of moving along the longitudinal guides using rolling elements mounted on the sides of the carriage. At that the working tool is made in the form of an abrasive stone fixed in a mandrel, that is spring-loaded vertically to the movable base by means of elastic elements.

EFFECT: use of the invention provides higher operating performances of the device.
