FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to petroleum machine building, in particular to multi-stage submersible vane pumps for oil production. Stage of the multistage submersible centrifugal pump contains a guide apparatus, an impeller floating on the shaft, provided with discharge openings and an end seal with a support washer, a discharge chamber and a balancing seal. Balancing seal is designed to regulate the axial force and cuts off the discharge openings from the discharge chamber when the impeller is axially displaced towards the discharge side. Balancing seal is designed as an axial slit seal formed by a collar on the impeller, and has a diameter not greater than the outer diameter of the circumference surrounding the discharge openings.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing the wear of axial supports and increasing the life of the pump by reducing the axial force and the pressing force, as well as expanding the working range of feed rates and simplifying the assembly of the stage.
