FIELD: navigation systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to navigational instrument making and can be used in mobile object navigation systems. In order to achieve the technical result, the method for selecting a group of usable satellites (LSVU) among satellites (LSV) of the positioning group for determining the instantaneous kinematic state of a vehicle comprises the steps of measuring value (Di, PDi) and estimated value (D*i, PD*i) of the Doppler coefficient and/or pseudo-distance, further comparing measured and estimated values, and in case of discrepancy, the satellite is excluded from the group of usable satellites. Estimated value is obtained from dynamic model (M) of the vehicle, in which the kinematic state in the past moment (E(t-1)) for calculating the instantaneous estimated kinematic state (E*(t)), using the mapping of path (4) along which the guided vehicle moves, is exclusively used.
