SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for separating heavy and light components from a hydrocarbon-rich feed fraction. Feed fraction (1) is partially condensed (E1, E2), and high boiler-rich liquid fraction (8) is separated by rectification (T1) (separation stage 1). Gas fraction (10) depleted in high boilers is partially condensed (E4) and by rectification (T2) is separated into methane-rich liquid fraction (11) and light component-rich gas fraction (12) (separation stage 2). Separation stage 1 is carried out at a pressure of at least 25 bar. Pressure in gas fraction (10) before it is fed to separation stage 2 is not increased. Recycle at separation stage 2 (T2) is formed by an open cooling cycle, where a refrigerant is vaporized at two different temperature levels using recycle streams (14, 15) in head condenser (E7) and side condenser (E8) at separation stage 2 (T2). Pressure of refrigerant (25) evaporated in side condenser (E8) is at least three times higher than the pressure of refrigerant (22) evaporated in head condenser (E7).
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the reduced energy consumption.
