SUBSTANCE: invention relates to household appliance (100) designed to care for laundry (123), wherein laundry care device (100) comprises washing solution tank (103) for receiving washing solution (121) that is rotatable, washing drum (105) for receiving laundry (123), drive (107) for washing drum (105), washing liquid pump (109) for pumping washing solution (121) from washing solution tank (103), supply device (111) for supplying washing solution (121) from tank (103) for the washing solution in washing drum (105) and heat generating device (113) for heating washing solution (121) conducted through supply device (111). Washing solution pump (109) is designed to pump first portion of washing solution (121) from washing solution tank (103) in the first period of time. Drive is designed to bring washing drum (105) into motion with a centrifugation frequency in the second time interval following the first time interval, for the purpose of extracting a second amount of laundry washing solution (123) from washing drum (105) by centrifugation and feeding it to washing solution tank (103). Supply device (111) is intended to be fed into the third time interval following the second time interval, of the second amount of the washing solution from washing solution tank (103) to the interior of washing drum (105) to wet the laundry in washing drum (105). Heat-releasing device (113) is designed to heat up to a predetermined temperature a second amount of washing solution (121) supplied by supply device (111) in a third time, heat releasing device (113) being integrated into supply device (111). Actuator (107) is designed to bring washing drum (105) into motion at a certain rotational speed in a third time interval, for the purpose of distributing a second amount of washing solution (121) in laundry (123) contained in washing drum (105).
