FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of material processing for the purpose of separating liquid from it by evaporation. Rotary-film evaporator, which includes a housing with an internal cylindrical heating surface, a rotor housed inside the housing, the shaft of which is connected to a drive mechanism thereof, and a feed-in / out system of the processed product formed by at least one feed nozzle, and also at least one outlet port of the processed concentrated product, while for the rotor there is a possibility of changing the geometry, characterized in that the rotor with variable geometry is made of a set of plate elements, mounted on the drive shaft perpendicular to the axis of its rotation, wherein the rotor is provided with a locking device which, in an open position, enables the lamellar elements of the set to mutually rotate to adjust its geometry, and in the working position it ensures the rotor the invariance of the geometric shape, preventing the rotation of the plate-like elements of the set relative to each other and the rotor shaft.
EFFECT: increase the flexibility of adjusting the rotary-film evaporator without replacing its constituent parts.
