SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a medical technique, namely to a method for applying a salt coating. Method includes preparing the surface of the walls and ceiling, preparing a solution for the salt coating and applying a salt coating to the walls. Surface of walls and ceiling is primed with water-emulsion paint with the addition of quartz sand in a ratio of 1:1 with subsequent drying. Salt coating is applied to the prepared surface of walls and ceilings in three stages. In the first stage, the solution for the salt coating is prepared in a ratio of 10 kg of salt and 2 liters of water and applied to the prepared wall surface, previously wetted with water from a spray gun, with a layer thickness of 0 to 10 mm, followed by a natural drying. In the second stage, the salt coating solution is prepared in a ratio of 10 kg salt and 2 liters of water and applied to the surface of the first layer by spreading the layer thickness from 0 to 30 mm, followed by natural drying. In the third stage, the salt coating solution is prepared in a ratio of 10 kg salt and 1.5 l water and applied to the second layer by casting, followed by natural drying.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the therapeutic effect from the use of salt coating due to a uniform and dense coating layer of salt.
