FIELD: textile and paper.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises obtaining a composite yarn by using spun yarn containing flame-retardant fibres having limiting oxygen index as measured by JIS K7201 of 25 or higher, and two-component fibres in which the two components are bonded together in a side-by-side manner or an eccentric core/sheath manner, and then using this composite yarn to obtain a fabric, in which the weight ratio of the flame-retardant fibres is 75 wt.% or more with respect to the fabric weight and the weight ratio of the two-component fibres is in the range of 5–15 wt.% with respect to the fabric weight.
EFFECT: present invention is directed at solving the problem of creating a fabric that has not only suitable flame retardancy but also good stretching properties, as well as a textile product made using this fabric.
