FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a foam glass. charge for production of foam glass contains, wt. %: glass batch 48.7–66.40; ash, thermally activated 22.10–39.8; sodium hydroxide 7.08–8.90; liquid glass 2.60–4.42; water 14.82–18.18 by weight of dry components. Fiberglass is crushed to a size of 1–2 mm and subjected to grinding in a vibrating mill to particle sizes of not more than 100 mcm. Ash-slag fines up to 2 mm subjected to heat treatment at a temperature of 450–550 °C for no more than 1 hour, and after heat treatment, the thermoactivated ash-slag is cooled and ground in a vibrating mill to particle sizes of not more than 80 mcm. Further, all components of the charge are mixed, molded in molds, heated to a firing temperature in the range from 875 to 905 °C with a speed of no more than 7–8 °C/min, cooling of the expanded silicate mass is carried out by sharply lowering the swelling temperature by 100–150 °C, after which annealing is performed to a temperature of 60 °C with a speed of no more than 0.5–0.6 °C/min.
EFFECT: increase in the average density, compressive strength, thermal conductivity.
