SUBSTANCE: used as a toy to develop the concept of deformation possibilities of surrounding objects in children of preschool and primary school age. Said “transforming ball” toy consists of a sphere made of elastic material and capable of returning the original shape of the material, for example rubber, with a nut pressed into it and a hole located on the side opposite to the nut, and an axis having at one end a threaded portion screwed into the nut so that the axis is inside the sphere and part of the axis extends beyond the hole located on the sphere from the side opposite to the nut. It is also possible to supply the axis of the toy with a support or a ring, which thus serve to install it on a flat surface or hang it on a string or other flexible element, for example a chain.

EFFECT: technical result is as follows: the “transforming ball” toy allows to simulate a fairly complex change in the appearance of an object as a result of a topological transformation – turning inside out.
