SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fastening elements, for example fastening elements, which can be applied to a part of the panel, including fasteners in the form of terminal nuts. Non-metallic terminal has opposite first and second arms, which are designed with the possibility to be longitudinally displaceable relative to one another near the corresponding first end portions of the arms, which have the first and the second openings, which are substantially coaxial and define the axial direction, it includes the first and the second wall extending from the first arm in the direction from the second arm to the respective first and second upper portions and transversely to the longitudinal direction, forming a nest, which is designed to restrict movement of the nut base in the longitudinal direction. At least one of the first and second upper portions includes the third wall that projects toward the other of the first and second upper portions. Third wall is spaced from the other upper part by a distance forming an opening sufficient to install and remove the nut with the petals through this opening. First wall has two cavities, in which the first pair of petals enters, the second wall has two cavities, which are configured to hold axially the second pair of petals. First and the second walls have respective central areas, which are located between the cavities in the corresponding walls.

EFFECT: increased reliability of retaining the nut.
