ROLLER ELEMENT AND LOCKING MECHANISM ON ITS BASIS (VARIANTS) Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC F41A3/46

Abstract RU 2671890 C1

FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to small arms. Roller element of the locking mechanism of an automatic weapon consists of coaxial cylinders, external and internal, while the external element interacts with the receiver and the skeleton of the shutter, and the inner – with the thrust surface of the larva of the shutter. Roller elements are installed symmetrically to the longitudinal axis of the gate larvae on both sides. As an option, it is possible to use a roller element in the locking mechanism with a shutter core connected to the vapor system, including a larva with a cylindrical roller element mounted on it, whose outer cylinder interacts with the receiver and the larva, and the inner cylinder interacts with the skeleton. Roller element can be installed on both sides of the larva symmetrically about its longitudinal axis.

EFFECT: increase in the durability of the elements of the locking device and interacting with them surfaces.
