FIELD: cosmetology.

SUBSTANCE: method for pigmentation of the skin of the lips relates to cosmetic services, to permanent makeup of the face, and can be used to create a long-term visual effect of applied lip makeup. In the method, the technical result is achieved due to a minor injury to the skin of the lips when performing the proposed method for pigmentation with a set of strokes of 3–10 mm that are horizontal relative to the edges of the lips, located close to each other and formed from micropores in the epidermis, with a high speed of vertical reciprocating motion of the needle of the handpiece, slow progress of the needle over the skin, with a gradual change in the depth of its penetration into the epidermis along the arc path, changing the inclination of the needle to the surface of the skin in the scope of stroking; the strokes of each next set, offset from the previous one by 0.5–2 mm according to the pattern, partially fill the gaps between the strokes of the previous array, and in one go a part of the lip is pigmented with the necessary density of the pattern, ensuring the fulfillment of the artistic idea that does not require re-pigmentation, which eliminates the repeated ingress into the pigmented micropores.

EFFECT: acceleration of the healing process of the skin of the lips after pigmentation.
