FIELD: agriculture; engineering.
SUBSTANCE: combine harvester contains transition grate with an additional separating device placed on it. Additional separating device is made in form of a transverse air circuit, suction slot of which is oriented downward. Air circuit is placed in a reticulated rotating drum placed above finger rake at the end of transition grate. Size of the holes of reticulated drum exceeds the size of light fractions of heap of chaff and grain.
EFFECT: efficiency of separation process of chaff and light small impurities is increased, which increases capacity of cleaning system of combine harvester with a guaranteed absence of crop losses.
