Method of determining innovative objects in information systems is characterized by the fact that it comprises the steps of receiving and storing, with respect to each component of the information system, the predicted data on the maximum permissible processing time, predicted and statistical data on the minimum permissible non-exceedance frequency of this time, statistical data and predicted data are compared, and if the statistical data is less, data about the component as an innovative object is generated, stored and transferred to the subjects of information system management.

EFFECT: technical result is the automatic determination of innovative objects in existing information systems, taking into account data on the predicted maximum permissible processing time of users' requests.
