FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the field of chemical technology for the purification of solutions from radioactive elements. Method of purification of salt solutions from radionuclides on the basis of electrochemical production of selective sorbent – titanium-aluminate hydroxocomplexes, is that after isolation of strontium in the sorbent composition due to precipitation, the solution is subjected to filtration in at least one stage. Final stage is filtration through microporous filter cartridges, possessing its own ion-exchange capacity, obtained by the polycondensation reaction of polyhydric phenols with formaldehyde. There is also an installation for cleaning saline solutions from radionuclides.

EFFECT: group of inventions allows to achieve a high degree of purification of the considered liquid radioactive waste from radioactive strontium, while ensuring the minimization of the amount of solid waste to be buried.
