FIELD: package and storage.

SUBSTANCE: device for filling and closing disposable bags for banknotes comprises upper container (11) for temporarily housing one or more banknotes (12), having bottom (15) with opening (19) for the exit of one or more banknotes from the container. Piston (14) for pushing banknotes (12) towards opening (19) on the bottom of the container. Bag (13) made of flexible plastic film is intended to be filled with the banknotes temporarily housed in container (11) and exiting through opening (19). Support (16) for bag (13) containing the banknotes is vertically movable through controlled lowering means (17) and placed below container (11). Sealing bars (18) are arranged between upper container (11) and movable support (16) and are intended to seal the neck of bag (13) once filling is complete. Device comprises electromagnetic stopper (26), which is adjustable for locking movable support (16) relative to sealing bars (18) and containing electromagnet (27) connected to movable support (16), and fixed element (28) made of ferromagnetic material, in working condition facing electromagnet (27).

EFFECT: invention prevents banknotes from being pulled out of the top of the bag during sealing.
