FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for regenerating a fast filter with fine-grained quartz loading contaminated with organic compounds. Method of regeneration consists in that the upper washing is carried out by applying to the contaminated surface of the filter a detergent-dispersing solution based on natural surfactant of gum arabic, possessing demulsifying abilities with respect to oil, grease and oil pollution, and bottom-up washing with water.
EFFECT: invention allows to improve the efficiency of regeneration of fine-grained loading of a fast filter due to the treatment of the most contaminated layers of the filtering load with a washing-dispersing solution of gum arabic and transfer of contaminants to the cleaning medium in the form of solutions and dispersions.
