FIELD: transport traffic control systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway automation to control the position of a train on the way. System contains a train control center, a fiber-optic cable with a sealed plug, laid along the track, and the on-board part, which includes the on-board receiver of the satellite navigation system, the unit for linking the geographical coordinates to the track of the railway line, the controller and the locomotive radio station. Control center includes an information and control server, an electric centralization device, a fixed radio transceiver, sensory device for tracking train movements on the stretch, a block of data on the location of the head and tail cars of the train, successively connected modules of accumulation of reflectograms, Fourier transform, noise filtering, building trajectories of the head and tail of the train, determining the time interval of the train in the considered coordinate of the track, the accumulation of data on the number of axles and cars that follow the boundaries of the track sections, determining the free/occupied state of the track sections, as well as two Gaussian filter modules and two modules for calculating the number of local maxima.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of determining the location of the head and tail cars of the train is achieved.
