A memory unit stores a plurality of instruction words for controlling a display device and at least one external device, wherein the plurality of instruction words correspond to at least one application of the display device and at least one application of at least one external device; determining, in response to receiving a voice signal of a user through the voice acquiring apparatus, one of the plurality of instruction words stored in the memory unit, in accordance with the received voice signal and the control instruction, to control the display device or at least one external device, in accordance with the said determined instruction word; transmitting the determined control instruction from the display device to the voice acquiring device so that the voice acquiring device transmits the determined control instruction to the determined external device.
