FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment and technology for manufacturing articles made of composite materials, including easily damaged carbon bundles, contour weaving, and can be used to produce long products of convex continuous section in engineering, aviation, shipbuilding, oil and gas and construction industries. Spindle of a braiding complex for manufacture of reinforced products of composite materials contains a body in assembly, coil assembly for a bundle, barrel assembly, axle assembly, spring cleaning, cleaning body, tensioner and bearings. According to the invention, it further comprises a friction ring disposed within the coil and acting as a friction brake, tensioner spring with a comb and retainer, arranged for mutual movement to change the tension of the tensioner spring and bundle, while on the cleaning body there is a stop fixed for stopping the cleaning body in end positions and serves as an indicator for a bundle break sensor.

EFFECT: said assemblies and components are disposed and interconnected in such a way that they provide tension of the bundle in a predetermined range, reduction in damage to the bundle during unwinding and signaling of bundle breaks.
