FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysical studies of drilled oil and gas wells, in particular, to the technology of using a drill string to lower and move small diameter geophysical instruments in wells with an open barrel of a complex profile. Method of carrying out geophysical work through the drill string in wells with an open barrel with a complex trajectory includes the descent of a downhole tool to a predetermined depth using a logging winch with a geophysical cable carrying a cable tip and passed through an adapter system, including the main and additional adapters installed on the upper end of the drill string, lowered into the wellbore, connecting the cable tip with the downhole tool and placing the downhole tool inside the drill string with subsequent descent to the research interval. In the drilled wells with a complex trajectory of an open hole, the drill string is lowered with an open end in the lower part to exit and advance the downhole tool in the open hole. Then the upper end of the drill string is fixed to the wellhead with wedges of the rotor, the adapter system is attached and the drill string is placed into the well. Then, the upper end of the drill string is released from the rotor wedges and the drill string with the adapter system is raised to a height that ensures that the open end of the drill string is placed in the well above the studied interval. After that, the downhole tool is lowered to the studies interval on the cable, the downhole tool is monitored from the drill string to the open borehole, after the well tool is moved upward in the drill string, before reaching the additional adapter. Then the drill string is fixed on the mouth with wedges of the rotor, and the additional adapter is disconnected from the drill string. Then the entire system of adapters is lifted above the drill string and, together with the downhole tool, is transferred to the walkways of the well.
EFFECT: technical result consists in prevention of accidents during the run of devices used for research by direct methods in drilled wells with a complex open-hole trajectory.
