FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway transport, in particular, to the design of the nozzles of the sanding system of a locomotive. Nozzle includes a housing with two inlets and one outlet. First inlet is designed to supply compressed air. Air supply adjustment unit is located in the air duct. Second inlet is designed to supply sand into the internal cavity of the body through a glass with a through hole. Hole for cleaning and maintenance of the nozzle is closed by a removable lid with a ledge. Sealing element is installed between the cover and the housing.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the nozzle is achieved.
