SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of cosmetology and is a biologically active zeolite-containing additive used as a component of a cosmetic for hair dye and containing a zeolite previously ground to a particle size of 0.01–10 microns, characterized in that it contains a modified zeolite as a zeolite, which is additionally enriched in Na cations when immersed in a 5–12 % aqueous solution of sodium chloride, followed by the removal of chlorine anions by washing with water, filtration and drying, in one part of the dry ground mass of the modified zeolite, Na cations are replaced by silver or gold cations, or platinum, or copper, or calcium, or potassium, or magnesium, or zinc or iron by treating with 10–20 % aqueous solution of inorganic salts of these metals, followed by removal of sodium salts, drying and grinding, and the rest of the dry ground mass of the modified zeolite, enriched in Na cations, is mixed in a ratio from 1:2 to 2:1 with the first part of the dry ground mass of a modified zeolite enriched in silver cations, or gold, or platinum, or copper, or calcium, or potassium, or magnesium, or zinc, or iron.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the effectiveness of the cosmetic effect of a zeolite-containing additive on hair, skin and on plant components, enhancing their coloring and cosmetic properties for hair care, namely coloring and strengthening hair.
