This invention is a method for selective post-emergent control of undesirable vegetation in the presence of a crop, selected from the group that includes sunflowers, sorghum, white mustard, spring leaf mustard, collard greens, spring turnip, spring rape, spring rutabaga or sugar beet, which includes applying a herbicidally effective amount of 4-amino-3-chloro-6-(4-chloro-2-fluoro-3-methoxyphenyl)pyridine-2-carboxylic acid or its agricultural acceptable ester or salt at a rate of 0.5 to 10 g EC/ha.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase the resistance of crops.
