FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the spacecraft (SC) with solar batteries (SB) operation control. Method comprises the SC given orientation maintenance and the SB setting to the Sun by the working surface. Measuring the SC angular position in the inertial space and the load current (In) from the electric power consumers on SC. Supporting the SB angular deviation from the direction to the Sun in the range from zero to the value determined by the current ratio In to its maximum value. Under this condition, turning the SB relative to the SC to achieve a given level of the shaded from the Sun SC surface portion illumination by reflected from the SB surface light. Memorizing measured at that the SC angular position, and with the SC current position subsequent deviation from it, repeating the SB mentioned rotation.
EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling of the SC outer surface areas (working areas) required illumination.
