FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy, namely, biobreaking and bioleaching of non-ferrous and noble metals from refractory sulfide ores and spent heap leaching stacks, and can be used in the mining, chemical, metallurgical industries, including at facilities in cryolithic zones. Method includes layer-by-layer formation of a stack of refractory sulfide ore fractions and material that has passed the natural disposal of the spent stack of heap cyanide leaching of precious metals. Fractions are obtained by high-intensity vibration screening with subsequent pelletizing of small fractions. Bio-oxidation and bioleaching of a pre-acidified stack is carried out with a solution with a biocomplex of thionic iron-oxidizing, thionic sulfur-oxidizing and metal-tolerant extremophilic microorganisms. Increase in the extraction of gold in the commodity product is 20–40 %, silver – 30–80 %.
EFFECT: improved efficiency and depth of processing refractory mineral raw materials of natural and man-made origin with the production of additional highly liquid commercial products.
