FIELD: cleaning devices.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for the concentration of phloroglucine from aqueous solutions and can be used in the analytical control of wastewater entering biological treatment. Method consists in the extraction of phloroglucine with tributyl phosphate from aqueous solutions acidified to pH = 1–5 at a temperature of 20 ± 2 °C, the tributyl phosphate is preliminarily applied to the crushed rigid polyurethane foam in a mass ratio of polyurethane foam:tributyl phosphate, equal to 1:(1.5–2.0).
EFFECT: proposed method allows to increase the concentration ratio by 4 times and increase the degree of phloroglucine extraction to 95 %.
