SUBSTANCE: invention can be used, for example, in laser range-finders. Galilean telescopic optical system consists of a lens and eyepiece. Lens is made in the form of two positive components, the first of which along the rays is glued together from a biconvex and biconcave lenses, the second is a meniscus facing with concavity to an image. Eyepiece is a single biconcave lens with equal radius of optical surfaces. Refractive index of the eyepiece material for line e is more than 1.74 and less than 2.3, the coefficient of dispersion of the eyepiece material for line e is more than 14 and less than 29.5, and the coefficient of dispersion of material of the second objective component for line e is more than 47 and less than 64.
EFFECT: technical result is higher optic increase and workability with high image quality, increase in the diameter of the entrance pupil and the angle of the field in the space of objects.
