FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device and method for operating a heat pump, in particular for heating a vehicle interior. Compressor (V), the condenser (KON), throttle valve (DV) and evaporator (VER) are arranged in a heat-pump circuit of a working medium. Gaseous working medium is compressed in compressor (V), the compressor outlet is connected to the inlet of condenser (KON). Heat is delivered as useful heat directly or indirectly to a consumer, in particular into the vehicle interior. Condenser (KON) is followed by jet pump (EJ), to which, on one side, the liquid working medium coming from condenser (KON) is delivered as driving medium and to which, on the other side, the gaseous working medium flowing out from evaporator (VEP) is delivered as suction medium. Driving medium and suction medium are compressed in jet pump (EJ) as a two-phase mixture, in particular, the driving medium and suction medium are compressed in diffuser (7) of jet pump (EJ) as a two-phase mixture. Jet-pump outlet is connected to the inlet of separator (SEP). Gas outlet of separator (SEP) is connected to the compressor inlet and the liquid outlet is connected to the inlet of throttle valve (DV). Outlet of throttle valve (DV) is connected to the inlet of evaporator (VER). Four pressure levels are defined for a heat-pump circuit. Highest pressure level (pIII) is determined by an outlet pressure of compressor (V). Lowest pressure level (p0) is determined by a saturation temperature in evaporator (VER). Two intermediate additional pressure levels (pI, pII) are determined by operating pressures downstream of jet pump (EJ) and downstream of throttle valve (DV).

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency.
