FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket technology, and more specifically to the organization of the mixing of liquid self-igniting fuel components in the chamber of a liquid rocket thruster (LRT). Mixing head consists of a housing with oxidizer and fuel supply channels and corresponding nozzles with deflectors placed opposite them with conical reflective surfaces facing each other. According to the invention, the deflectors are made annular, alternating from the axis of the mixing head to the periphery, and the edges of at least one of the deflectors form an annular gap with the conical surface of the other deflector, which passes into the annular conical channel, the output of which is made in the exit zone of the next annular channel. Mixing head has an external deflector protruding beyond the outlets from the annular conical channels and form a conical pre-chamber.
EFFECT: invention provides an improvement in the manufacturability of LRT, as well as an increase in the efficiency of LRT due to the organization of the mixture formation in the flow core.
