FIELD: physics; oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for thinning oil sludge inside tanks and closed tanks with a microwave field. Device contains a "microwave emitter" 1 with a coaxial cable 2 connected at one end to the "microwave generator" 3, located outside the tank and designed to supply high frequency current to the "microwave emitter" and the other end to the "microwave emitter" 1, which is connected to the power source 4. "Microwave emitter" 1 is made of wire with high resistivity, having the form of intersecting framework. Moreover, it was found that the radial size of the intersecting frames should be at least a quarter of the microwave field wavelength, and the height of the framework should be of the order of 0.125 wavelength for efficient radiation of energy.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention consists in the implementation of heating, cleaning and disposal of oil waste in tanks for the oil-producing and oil refining industries due to non-contact volume heating, using volumetric microwave processing to ensure volumetric uniform heating of the environment of oil sludge using a microwave electromagnetic field, which leads to lower energy and time costs.
