FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acoustics, in particular, to theremin. Method of producing loudness control signal in heterodyne type theremin, in which loudness control signal is obtained as a result of excitation of oscillatory circuit, tuning frequency of the loop varies when the performer hand moves, and in which to obtain a fixed frequency signal for heterodyning and the oscillation circuit excitation signal, one common reference oscillator is used, support oscillator differs by the fact that for excitation of oscillatory circuit signal is used with frequency, which is in exact multiple ratio with frequency of signal for heterodyning or in ratio of integers, but not in ratio 1:1. To obtain the desired signals, one of the frequencies present in the system is used, which is then divided to obtain said ratios. Own clock frequencies of the other theremin units are synchronized with a frequency equal to or a multiple of the heterodyning frequency or another frequency from which it is obtained.
EFFECT: simplification of design, reduction of influence of volume channels and pitch of tone on each other, elimination of non-harmonic sounds in sound signal.
