SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the storage of user-related data. Method of storing data in the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) comprises the steps of: selecting a first and a second user subscribed to at least one service; analyzing the first and second sets of archive data associated with the first and second users to identify one common configuration data item in the first and second sets of archive data. In response to the detection of a common element, a new configuration data structure is designed, containing a single instance of the identified common data elements, and the new data structure is stored in the home subscribers server (HSS) in the IMS.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to reduce the amount of data in a data set that eliminates redundant data elements.
