FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to low-voltage distribution and control equipment, which is intended for operation in electric power distribution circuits with a rated voltage of up to 1,000 VAC or up to 1,500 VDC. Drive mechanism of the switching device contains a spring mechanism and a mechanism for moving the blade contacts. Spring mechanism includes the shaft of the spring mechanism and two rocker-beam mechanisms located thereon. Mechanism for moving the knife contacts includes a shaft for moving the knife contacts, cams of the shaft for moving the knife contacts in the amount of three pieces, placed on the shaft for moving the knife contacts, and three shackles attached to the cams for moving the knife contacts. Shaft of the spring mechanism is located inside the shaft of movement of the knife contacts, made hollow, and in the wall of the shaft of movement of the knife contacts are made slots to accommodate the rocker-beam mechanisms.
EFFECT: increased reliability and speed of the drive mechanism.
