SUBSTANCE: invention relates to peripheral devices. Plug contains multiple leads and is designed so that to enable detachable installation into the socket of the host device. At least one processor is connected to a first terminal of the plug and is configured to transmit and/or receive multiplexed data through a first terminal. Detection module is connected to the first terminal and is configured to detect whether the multiplexed data received at the first output has a given authentication structure which indicates the possibility of switching the function. Function switching module is connected to at least the second terminal of the plug and is configured to select a functional unit from the plurality of functional units, wherein each of the functional units has an associated function, and assigning a function associated with the selected functional block for at least the second output of the plug.

EFFECT: technical result consists in possibility of plug output function switching.
