SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ecology, namely the assessment of the condition of living accommodation, including the determination of pollution levels according to several contamination factors. For this purpose, samples of water and air are taken in the premises of the inspected object, and the levels of the radiation background, electromagnetic fields, noise, temperature, humidity and air speed in the room are measured. Besides, preliminary ranking of contamination values is carried out in scores using the values defined in regulatory documents and regulating the named contamination factors. Scores of values of contamination factors are summed and used for a comparative assessment of the quality of the environment inside the premises of the inspected object, a higher score of the total value indicates a higher quality of the environment inside the premises, besides, a weighted average value of the total value is used to measure the quality of the environment at the object, taking into account the area of the inspected premises.

EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of a reliable assessment of living accommodation in terms of the complex impact of harmful factors on human health, and also the possibility of ranking the dwellings according to the degree of suitability for living in them.
