FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to adhesive compositions based on epoxy-terminated polyesters. Disclosed is a two-component adhesive composition, including A) an epoxy-terminated polyester having structure (I), where R1 denotes (II), G denotes (III), j ranges from 0 to 5, R2 denotes (IV), where R4 is selected from linear alkyl groups containing 3 or fewer carbon atoms; aliphatic ether groups having the structure -R8-OR10- where each of R8 and R10 denotes linear or branched alkyl groups; and mixtures of linear or branched alkyl groups containing 3 or fewer carbon atoms with aliphatic ether groups having the structure -R8-OR10-, where each of RS and R10 denotes linear or branched alkyl groups and where p ranges from 0 to 20, R3 and R5 each is independently selected from the group consisting of (a) aliphatic groups that contain 12 or fewer carbon atoms; (b) aromatic groups that have structure (V), and (c) mixtures thereof; R21 and R22 independently denote a divalent alkyl group, and B) one or more reagents selected from the group consisting of phenylalkylamines, Mannich bases, phenylalkylamides containing terminal amino groups, amide resins, aminoimidazoles, and mixtures thereof, for curing epoxides, each molecule of which contains two or more active hydrogen atoms, each of which can react with an epoxy group.

EFFECT: disclosed adhesive compositions cure at low temperatures, in particular at 25 °C, and provide high binding strength.
