FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for drying and sanitation of organic waste materials. Device comprises container body 10 for containing waste materials to be dried, having inlet 16 for materials to be dried and outlet 17 for dried and sanitized materials, mixing elements 20 located in container body 10 and equipped with blade 21 protruding relative to rotating shaft 23 supporting it, ventilation circuit 30 configured to generate forced ventilation of air inside container body 10, comprising means 33 for generating air flow outside container body 10, communicating with distribution nozzle 34 arranged inside container body 10, wherein spray nozzle 34 is connected to vane 21, configured to mix the waste materials contained in container body 10, temperature sensor 42 configured to measure temperature inside container body 10, and a control system configured to receive a signal from temperature sensor 42 and to control the air flow forced into container body 10 by vent loop 30, depending on the signal received from temperature sensor 42.

EFFECT: invention ensures proper homogenous drying and efficient sanitation of waste materials by means of simple, rational and inexpensive device.
