FIELD: lighting engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering. LED tube lamp (1) is configured to replace the luminescent tube lamp. LED tube lamp (1) has tube (12) comprising LED unit (10) with a plurality of light-emitting diodes (100), assembly (16A, 16B) of connectors with connectors (16), made with possibility of insertion into seats (50) of socket assembly (50A, 50B) of housing (5) of tube lamp, which includes ballast (20, 21) with brightness adjustment. Excitation circuit assembly (11) is designed to drive LED unit (10), wherein excitation circuit unit (11) is configured to output current (ILED) in light-emitting diodes based on input current provided by ballast (20, 21) with brightness adjustment. Safety switch (S13, M1) is arranged in tube (12) to electrically isolate connectors (16) of connector assembly (16A, 16B) between excitation circuit unit (11) and LED unit (10). Described is a method of exciting LED tube lamp (1) from ballast (20, 21) with brightness control of luminescent tube lamp (1).
EFFECT: reduced power consumption.
