FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering, particularly to ultra-wideband (UWB) antennas, and can be used in various broadband radio engineering systems for radiation of high-power UWB electromagnetic pulses. Antenna (TEM-horn) contains two identical conductor plates (CP), which are mirror-bent relative to each other, feed line, matching coil and lens in the form of dielectric plate installed in plane of symmetry of TEM-horn perpendicular to CP and repeating shape of their bending. Technical result is achieved due to matching with external space using a special-shape dielectric lens, and with a supply line – using a matching coil.
EFFECT: wider range of operating frequencies and higher amplification coefficient of the TEM-horn at reduction of overall dimensions in the opening area.
