FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of high-corrosion steel rolled stock used for water supply systems. Rolled stock is made of steel containing the following components in the following ratio, wt. %: carbon 0.04–0.12, silicon not more than 0.03, manganese 0.15–0.40, sulfur not more than 0.015, phosphorus not more than 0.020, chrome 0.15–0.30, nickel not more than 0.1, copper not more than 0.1, aluminum 0.01–0.05, nitrogen not more than 0.006, molybdenum not more than 0.015, niobium not more than 0.01, titanium not more than 0.01, vanadium not more than 0.01, arsenic not more than 0.08, iron and unavoidable impurities making the rest. Rolled stock has ferrite-pearlite structure with pearlite content of not more than 8 %. Density of corrosion-active non-metallic inclusions (CANI) based on calcium and/or magnesium aluminates containing silicon in the absence of a sulphide component or having a sulphide component in the form of manganese sulphide is not more than 2 incl/mm2, and CANI density based on oxide component in form of calcium and/or magnesium aluminates and sulphide component, in which calcium sulphide is necessarily present, is not more than 2 incl/mm2.

EFFECT: high corrosion resistance of rolled products in aqueous media.
