FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to investigation of low-temperature properties of oil products by passing ultrasonic waves through them and can be used for rapid control of pour point and fluidity in analytical laboratories of petrochemical enterprises, universities and research centers. Disclosed is a method of determining a pour point of a liquid hydrocarbon mixture, which comprises cooling an analyzed sample, Further, the analyzed sample is deposited on the surface of the quartz resonator in the form of a droplet and the temperature dependence of the oscillation amplitude of the resonator is recorded. At the beginning of the oscillation amplitude reduction, the temperature of the beginning of the phase transition is determined, and if the amplitude values are constant, the phase transition is completed. Before cooling, the analyzed sample is heated to 30÷60 °C, as well as after completion of phase transition analyzed sample is heated at rate of 2–15 °C/min and temperature dependence of oscillation amplitude of the resonator is recorded. At that, at the beginning of increase in oscillation amplitude, yield temperature is determined.
EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy and rapidness of measurements.
