FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of carbon-graphite composite material. Method includes vacuum degassing of porous carbon-graphite workpiece, its impregnation with melt of matrix aluminum alloy under action of excessive pressure due to thermal expansion of melt at heating above temperature of liquidus of aluminum alloy. Degassing is carried out before dipping the porous workpiece into the melt of the matrix alloy, and before impregnation a four-layer galvanic coating is applied on the porous workpiece, consisting of internal copper, intermediate nickel and silver and outer rhodium layers.
EFFECT: higher quality of composite material.
