FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of coal-graphite composite material. Method includes vacuum degassing of porous coal-graphite billet, its impregnation with melt of matrix aluminium alloy under action of excessive pressure due to thermal expansion of melt at heating above temperature of liquidus of aluminium alloy. Degassing is performed before immersion of porous billet into melt of matrix alloy, and before impregnation four-layer galvanic coating consisting of internal copper, intermediate nickel and silver, and external palladium layers is applied on porous billet.

EFFECT: higher quality of composite material.
